A Bûche in the Bouche

I recently wrote a guest post about my first French Christmas for “an American table,” a blog that explores the richness and variety of American cuisine through the writers’ experiences.

Here are the first few lines:

Christmas in France is really all about food.  Sure, they have their Christmas trees, nativity sets, and advent calendars (with a piece of chocolate behind each flap).  But Christmas with a French family is essentially an eating marathon.
